1. What this service is
Devscan is a block explorer. It reads data that is already public on the Devscan network and presents it in a readable form. Using it forms an agreement between you and Cryptodee Blockchain Consultancy.
The explorer is a viewer, not a wallet, exchange, or custodian. It never holds your DEV or any other asset, cannot move funds, and cannot reverse or alter anything recorded on the chain.
No part of this service will ever ask for a seed phrase, private key, or wallet password. Anyone asking for one while claiming to be us is trying to steal from you.
2. Accounts
An account is optional. Every page that shows chain data works without one; an account only adds the private conveniences listed in section 3 - a watch list, your own name tags, transaction notes, and API keys.
- You are responsible for keeping your password confidential, and for what is done through your account.
- Give an email address you can actually receive mail at. Confirmation and password-reset links go there, and without access to it you may not be able to recover the account.
- One person may hold one account. Accounts created in bulk, or through automated means, may be removed.
- Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has access to your account.
3. What we store about you
This is the whole of it. Nothing here is sold, rented, or shared with advertisers.

The only cookie set is the sign-in session cookie. It is HttpOnly and same-site, is not used for tracking, and is removed when you sign out. Display preferences such as the light or dark theme are kept in your own browser and never sent to the server.
Deleting your account removes all of the above. Records already written to the blockchain are outside anyone's control and cannot be deleted - see section 6.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Attempt to gain access to another account, or to any part of the service you have not been granted.
- Probe, scan, or test the security of the service, or interfere with its operation, other than as part of a disclosure you have agreed with us in advance.
- Place unlawful, misleading, or abusive content in any field you can type into, including name tags and notes.
- Impose an unreasonable load on the service - scraping at volume, or evading rate limits, in place of using the API.
- Present the service, or data taken from it, as something issued or endorsed by us when it is not.
5. API access
API keys are issued for your own use. Treat one as a credential: anyone holding it can call the API as you. Revoke a key from your account page if it is exposed.
Rate limits may be applied or adjusted to keep the service available to everybody. Keys used to disrupt the service, or shared publicly, may be revoked without notice.
6. Blockchain data
Devscan is a public network. Balances, transactions, contracts, and addresses shown here are read from it and are visible to anyone, with or without an account here. We do not control the network and cannot add to, amend, reverse, or remove anything recorded on it.
Indexed data may lag behind the chain, may be incomplete during re-organisations, and may contain errors. The chain itself is always the authoritative record. Do not rely on this explorer alone for a decision that matters.
Labels, name tags, and token information shown on public pages may come from third parties or from token issuers, and are not verified by us unless explicitly stated.
7. Not financial advice
Nothing on Devscan is financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, and nothing here is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold anything. Prices, charts, and market figures are provided for information and may be delayed or wrong.
A token appearing in this explorer is not an endorsement of it. Any token can be created by anyone. Research anything you intend to interact with, and understand that digital assets can lose their entire value.
8. Third-party content
The explorer links to and may display material from sources we do not control - websites, price feeds, token metadata, and contract source code submitted for verification. We are not responsible for that material, and a link is not an endorsement.
9. Availability and warranties
The service is provided as it is and as it happens to be available. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, timely, error-free, or that any defect will be corrected. It may be changed, suspended, or withdrawn at any time.
To the fullest extent the law allows, all warranties and conditions not expressly stated here are excluded.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Cryptodee Blockchain Consultancy is not liable for any loss of profit, revenue, data, or opportunity, nor for any indirect or consequential loss, arising from use of the service or from reliance on anything shown in it.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
11. Suspension and termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or remove an account that breaches these terms, or where doing so is necessary to protect the service or its users. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will say why.
12. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms; if you do not, stop using the service and delete your account.
